3 Day Guided Turkey Hunt | Shotgun | Collbran Colorado, Rifle Colorado & Meeker, CO
Turkey hunting is increasingly recognized as one of the most rapidly growing hunting sports in the United States, with Colorado boasting a rich population of the birds. Western Outdoor Adventures offers Spring Merriam Turkey hunts in the picturesque settings of Western Colorado, aiming to provide an unforgettable hunting experience reflective of the state’s natural beauty.
These hunts, whether pursued with archery equipment or shotguns, span three days and introduce hunters to the vibrant atmosphere of spring turkey hunting. As dawn breaks and the landscape is filled with the echoing gobbles of turkeys, hunters find themselves immersed in one of Colorado’s premier turkey hunting locales. The reason for this area’s popularity quickly becomes apparent, thanks to its healthy turkey populations and the abundant opportunities for a successful hunt.
The region targeted for these hunts is specifically managed through a draw system, yet the availability of private land-only tags significantly simplifies the drawing process for interested hunters, even those without preference points. Western Outdoor Adventures is committed to supporting hunters through each step of this process, ensuring access to prime hunting grounds.
The private lands available for these hunts are characterized by their robust Merriam’s Turkey populations and diverse habitats, including agricultural fields, cedar thickets, and river bottoms, providing an ideal backdrop for the pursuit of these birds.
Offered as semi-guided experiences, our Colorado turkey hunts leverage the expertise of our guides to position our clients for success against mature toms, capitalizing on our extensive knowledge of the local terrain and turkey behavior. This blend of professional guidance, exceptional hunting grounds, and a focus on creating a memorable hunting experience is what sets Western Outdoor Adventures apart in the realm of Colorado turkey hunting.
